Professor Shigenori Matsui joined the Allard School of Law in January 2006 as Director of Japanese Legal Studies. Professor Matsui comes to UBC from Osaka University Law School where he worked as associate professor from April 1983 to March 1994; and as full professor from April 1994 to December 2005.  He worked for Osaka University, Faculty of Law, until he joined the newly established law school in 2004.

Cameron is a Development Coordinator, supporting the Development and Alumni Engagement Team at the Peter A. Allard School of Law.

Karin Mickelson joined the Faculty as Assistant Professor in 1991 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1998. She has taught in the areas of international law, international environmental law, real property, environmental law and legal theory, and has supervised and co-supervised graduate students in a wide range of areas including international environmental law, international legal theory and international human rights. She has also served as the faculty advisor to UBC teams participating in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Susan is the Director, Student Academic Services.

Stephanie Mui is the Assistant Dean, Career Services Office. She received her B.A. from the University of British Columbia and her J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of Law. She is responsible for developing and managing career services opportunities for Allard law students and alumnae, and building and maintaining Allard’s legal, business, and non-profit network. She also provides career advising services to Allard law students and recent alumni.

Kris provides administrative support to select faculty, the FAC Council/Curriculum Committee and the Centre for Asian Legal Studies.
