Profile
Tom is a masters student in the research based program at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. His research explores the impact of the United Nations Declration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples on contemporary Canadian environmental assessment law and its relationship to Indigenous jurisdiction, with a focus on BC. This follows from his honours work at the University of New South Wales (Sydney), where he investigated emerging Australian jurisprudence on compensation for extinguished native title, and his work for the NSW Crown Solicitor in native title and property law.
