Profile

Lauren is a JD candidate at the Allard School of Law and a settler from the traditional territories of the Anishinaabeg peoples. Her hometown neighbours one of the most notorious sites of environmental racism in Canada, which is part of her motivation to study law and ultimately work to confront and dismantle systemic injustices. Lauren has a BA from Western University in Media and the Public Interest. Outside of school, she enjoys reading for pleasure, walking dogs, and tending to her plants.
