Profile
Brianna Patrick is 2L student from Winnipeg, Manitoba in Treaty 1 territory. In her legal career, she is interested in working towards advancing the rights of Indigenous peoples by upholding their inherent jurisdiction and laws over traditional territories. Her favourite law school experience so far has been participating in the W̱SÁNEĆ Law field course – a semester-long opportunity to learn, practice and engage with Indigenous legal traditions while living and participating in the W̱SÁNEĆ community. Beyond law school, she is also a beadwork artist and spends most of her free time creating small-batch handmade pieces using traditional materials. In the summer, she enjoys tending to her vegetable garden and reading at the beach.
