As a Juris Doctor student at the Allard School of Law, you may have questions about how to financially prepare for your three years in the program. This section will help current students to plan.

Law Awards

The Peter A. Allard School of Law is pleased to offer numerous entrance awards and scholarships ranging in size from a few thousand dollars up to our most prestigious awards at $15,000 for which prospective students are automatically considered. However, a number of awards and scholarships regonize students for their accomplishments in other areas as well as academic merit (e.g. leadership, community service, etc) and may require an application.  A call for applications will be sent to accepted applicants in mid-May. The deadline for submission is June 16th for continuing students and 15th for entering students.  More specific information is available using an online search. When using the search, it is recommended that you type in the award number and session in which the award would be provided (most awards are provided during winter sessions).  Applications and documents should be submitted to:
