Profile

Emily Sainsbury is a third year LLB student studying on exchange at UBC, from at the University of Nottingham, England. She was on exchange at the Allard School of Law during the 2022-23 school year. She is interested in how the law can be used to tackle our most poignant and important societal woes, despite its oftentimes outdated and bureaucratic approach. In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading and listening to music. Her interest in, and appreciation of the environment are constantly expanding, if somewhat tainted by the ever-present despair for what the future may hold.
